A visit to the Tennessee Aquarium is a fascinating troop outing and fun way to earn one of several badges related to nature or wildlife.

Sleepover at the Aquarium - Go where few have gone before! Join us as we embark on a whole new adventure -- sleeping in the deep at the Aquarium. You’ll get up-close with some of the coolest animals and go behind closed doors to see just what it’s like to be an aquarist.

Boy Scouts - Scouts can explore the natural world while meeting achievements and electives along the way at the Tennessee Aquarium. We've already done some of the homework for you - so click on your troop or pack below for ideas. To make a reservation, call 800-262-0695.

Girl Scouts - Special equipment is at your disposal to help your troop take their visit to the max! Additional classroom activities complete the requirements for your badge or Try-It. The Splash! program (see below) offers badge work during a self-guided tour for Brownies and Juniors.

Upon arrival, a staff member will show you to the Discovery Classroom, orient you to the Aquarium and introduce you to the Splash program. You’ll have the tool that makes you, the leader, an instant expert and focuses your girls’ attention as you tour the Aquarium. Special equipment is at your disposal to help your group take their visit to the max! Additional classroom activities complete the requirements for your Badge or Try-It. You'll have use of the classroom for three hours.
